This is my mother, Ellen [nee Stewart]. Today, Mothers’ Day,  is her birthday. She would have been 94. She was murdered , aged 66. I thought it would be useful, in my sixty ninth year, to reflect on the past twenty eight years and to publish her photograph.

She was probably in her forties when this photograph was taken. She was full of life and hope till SF/IRA took her life.

Having “claimed” the murder of my father, they have never apologised for her murder.

I reflect on this every time I hear a member of SF/IRA speak.
